🔔 “Bhaiya, mujhe aapse zaroori baat karni hai…”
That was the entire connection note.
No subject. No context. Just a sense of urgency.
At first, I thought — is this spam?
But something about the raw tone made me curious.
So I accepted.
💬 What followed genuinely surprised me.
It was a reference-based outreach — but not the kind you usually see with big names dropped or long intros.
This person had heard about me through someone I’d helped a while ago.
He was stuck with a career dilemma, and all he wanted was a quick, honest take — not a favor, not a referral, not a recommendation. Just a real conversation.
And we had one.
15 minutes of clarity. No fluff. No overthinking.
Here’s what I learned from that:
✅ Not all powerful messages come in polished packaging.
✅ Being real still works in a world of over-scripted outreach.
✅ Sometimes, urgency opens doors where formality stalls.
This wasn't about work.
